Actress Nargis Fakhri who has been in the news lately for her link-up with actor Shahid Kapoor, point blank refuses it. Clearing the air, she says, “I performed with him at an awards function and we realised that we had a lot of mutualfriends. I met him through work and he is a lovely human being. We’re friends and that’s that.” Nargis, who is one film old, came from New York a year ago when she was offered Rockstar. Since then, the actor has shifted base to Mumbai. Ask her if she misses NYC and she exclaims, “Surprisingly, I do not miss NYC. I am so busy, I don’t have time to miss it.” Talking about her future projects, the actor says, “There are a few things happening but I can’t divulge any information right now. We’re hoping to make an announcement soon.”
The actor has travelled extensively and now wants to explore India. “I have travelled to many places. I have also lived in cities across the world, which is different from just taking a short trip to these places.I still have a long list of places to visit, but now I want to explore India as I have not had the chance to really get to know this country.Though I travel for work, most of the time it is touch and go. I hope I get to see every corner of this amazing country.” she gushes. Considering, she is from NYC; would she be interested in taking up a Hollywood film? “I am really enjoying India and I am truly loving the learning process. I would not like to divert my attention anywhere right now. Acting is an ageless craft so you can go on forever. It’s an amazing career path.”
