New Delhi, Apr 15: Ranbir Kapoor has rubbished reports that he is set to play his grandfather, Raj Kapoor in a Yash Raj film which revolves around the late actor and his romance with screen beauty Nargis.
The 27-year-old actor said that the reports are “baseless”, though he did reveal that he will be playing legendary singer-actor Kishore Kumar in a bio-pic by Anurag Basu.
“The reports that I am playing Raj Kapoor are not true. I only came to know of the existence of the project through the media. But yes, I am playing Kishore Kumar in an upcoming film, but that film will only be releasing next year,” said Ranbir who was in the city to launch the new 3D TV by Panasonic.
