I am in no way connected with the attack: Mohammad Pahalwan

Hyderabad, May 1: Mohammad bin Omer al Yafai, better known as Mohammad Pahalwan denied the reports that his supporters made an attack on Chandrayangutta MLA on Saturday.

Talking to media correspondents Mohammad Pahalwan said that a group comprising of MIM leaders and anti social elements attacked his relatives’ houses however the report was made public that the MLA was attacked by him.

He told that harassment by the local MLA continued for the past three to four years against him and his relatives. During these years it was tried to affect his business by various means. He told that the MLA tried to declare his 10 acre land at Banglaguda as government land however the court judgment came out in his favour.

Mohammad Pahalwan told that the area which MLA visited today has lands belonging to his relatives which the MLA was trying to declare as government land or waqf property.

Mohammad Pahalwan said besides him every member of his family is the victim of MLA and his supporters’ harassment and yesterday too the MLA reached his house along with his supporters and tried to create trouble consequently the situation became worse.

Mohammad Pahalwan claimed that the attack was actually made by the MLA and his supporters. He told that his nephew Ibraheem Yafai was shot dead by MLA’s gunmen. While the other two nephews Aud Yafai and Abdullah Yafai’s condition is critical who sustained bullet injuries and are admitted in Yashudha hospital.
