Appreciating the Personality Development Workshop conducted by India Islamic International Centre in collaboration with Nobel Education Foundation, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said Saturday that such programs would be launched in entire Delhi.
“I dont want to give any political statement on this occasion as the present crises in Delhi government is not allowing me to leave the office for even for a moment but i came here only to know how the personality is being developed there ” said the Delhi CM while attending the concluding session of ‘Personality Development Workshop’ at India Islamic Cultural Centre.
Mr Kejriwal also said that ‘before witnessing Personality Development Workshop here at IICC i thought it would be a program like so many other programme which are being organized in different parts of Delhi but my perception has changed after i had attended this programme’.
‘I am extremely impressed by governance of Caliph Omar (the second caliph of Islam and) and will try to follow his model of governance for the betterment of people’ said Mr Kejriwal when Aateqa Siddiqui,a girl student presented a book about the governance of Caliph Umar Farooque to the Delhi Chief Minister.
Mr Kejriwal also said that he would study the whole book and try to implement the model of Caliph Omer.
‘Now I realised what is being done here is a unique, due to my tight schedule had I not attended this workshop it would have been a great loss to me’ said Mr Arvind Kejriwal.
Admiring the development work initiated by IICC president Sirajuddin Quraishi, Mr Kejriwal assured him of all possible support in his good work.
The Delhi CM was surprised by the performance of the participants who have gone through the Personality Development Workshop.
‘I never heard such stunning speeches before’ said Mr Arvind Kejriwal while appreciating the oratory talent of the participants.
Briefing about the activities of IICC and Nobel Education Foundation, Sirajuddin Quraishi said that more than ten thousand youths had participated in the Personality Development Workshop organized by India Islamic Cultural Centre so far and 60% of them had been employed.
