Panchayat Raj Minister K. Tarakarama Rao on Friday claimed that the Law & Order situation in Hyderabad has improved after the formation of Telangana State.
Addressing the TRS workers in Yousufguda here, KTR described Hyderabad as Mini India where people belonging to different castes, religious and States, live peacefully. He said some political parties had raised apprehension of deterioration of Law & Order in Hyderabad if Telangana was formed. However, he said that all the apprehensions and fears were proved wrong due to the effective administration of TRS Government.
KTR said that Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao has been trying to turn Hyderabad into a global city. He also listed out various schemes being implemented by the State Government for the development of Hyderabad and welfare of different sections of the society.
Criticising the BJP Government, he said that the Centre was neglecting Telangana and was not releasing adequate funds when compared to neighbouring Andhra Pradesh. (INN)
