A pilgrim who went to Holy Pilgrimage through Hajj Committee died in Madina Munawwara on Thursday. Special Officer Hajj Committee Prof. S A Shukoor told that 79-year-old Mohammed Sadiq R/O Chanchalguda, Hyderabad, had gone to Hajj along with his son Mohammed Nayeem under reserved quota. After performing Hajj he went to Madina Munawwara where he fell ill on Thursday and died. He was scheduled to return to Hyderabad on October 23.
His funeral prayer was performed at Masjid-e-Nabvi at Asr and burial took place at Jannat-ul-Baqi.
Meanwhile 6 batches of Hajj Committee pilgrims have reached Madina Munawwara from Makkah Mukarrama, from where they will return to Hyderabad after staying there for 9 days.
