Hyderabad: A group of Muslims on Friday set out a protest against France President Emmanuel Macron over his controversial stance taken in favor of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)’s caricatures.

They presented posters with #BoycottFrance and struck the picture of the French President. Earlier in the day, Tahreek-E-Islami Hyderabad, a Sunni Muslim organization also staged a similar protest.

Another organization All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB) appealed to the Muslims to boycott French products.

Muslims across the world are fuming over Macron’s comments supporting the cartoons of the Prophet drawn by French satirical cartoonist Charlie Hebedo. He made ‘inappropriate’ comments on Islam after a school teacher Samuel Patty was brutally for showing the cartoons during a debate on free speech.
