Mr. Ghyasuddin Babu Khan Chairman Hyderabad Zakat and Charitable Trust told that the staff and volunteers of the trust were busy in the survey work unremittingly from one month. Following which winter kits comprising of a woolen blanket, a bed sheet, a saree with blouse and a ‘lungi’ were distributed among 5000 families of 40 riot-hit villages.
Scholarships were also provided to the children of victim families to continue their education. Rs 50 lakhs were spent for the distribution of winter kits. Mr. Ghyasuddin Babu Khan thanked all the charitable persons who generously donated for the noble cause.
