Hyderabad: Managing director of a consultancy firm and a woman employee were arrested after the latter allegedly filmed her former colleague at the behest of her boss, the police said.
The accused are identified as A Shivayya, 35, the MD at event management firm Hyma Consultancy and the 30-year-old tele-caller.
The 22-year-old complainant, a former employee of Hyma Consultancy along with the accused woman and they were staying in a hostel located near JNTU, Kukatpally as roommates, the Cyberabad Police stated in a release.
In her complaint, the executive said the accused woman allegedly recorded nude pictures and videos using a mobile phone when she was changing her dress, at the behest of Shivaiah.
“When the victim confronted her roommate, the latter tried to hide the phone.The victim forcibly took the phone from her and found her visuals in it,” assistant commissioner of police (ACP), cyber crime, S Jayaram told Times of India.
The accused woman said Shivaiah had asked her to take the victim’s photos and videos and forward them to her boss, who is the managing director of a consultancy.
Shivaiah and the tele-caller were traced and arrested for outraging modesty of a woman.
