Hyderabad: Woman commits thefts in trains, arrested

Hyderabad: Railway Police arrested a woman who used to steal golden ornaments from the handbags of the train passengers

According to the details, Murugesen Devi (45), a resident of Maredpally, Secunderabad is the native of Tamil Nadu.

Earlier, she used to sell clothes. Later, she started thefts in trains. She used to steal valuable ornaments from the bags of the passengers.

Superintendent of Railway Police, Mr. G. Ashok Kumar told that she was involved in 11 theft cases. She was taken into police custody when she was wandering in suspicious condition at the foot over bridge of platform number 1 at Secunderabad Railway Station.

Police seized 77 tolas of gold ornaments worth Rs. 25 lakh. She was produced in the court of law and sent to jail.
