Hyderabad will soon be linked with international famous tourist and industrial cities. Hyderabad’s growing potential as an aviation destination is becoming a magnet for foreign airlines. Presently 10 international airlines are running their flights for various countries and by the end of the year the globally famous Cathay Pacific has decided to put Hyderabad on its aviation map. Following the construction of green field airport at Shamsabad, many airlines are eyeing on the Hyderabad city for operation of flights. It is likely that besides Cathay Pacific several other airlines will also begin flights from Hyderabad by the end of the year.
It is said that Lufthansa will begin its flights from the beginning of 2013. Keeping in view the facilities available at GMR airport, several airlines are said to be feeling proud to begin flights from Shamsabad international airport. GMR airport is counted among the chosen few international level green field airports.
It is likely that 4 more airlines will begin their flights from Rajiv Gandhi International Airport by March 2013.
