Hyderabad: Well known hakeem Syed Ghouseuddin passed away

Hakeem Syed Ghouseuddin well-known personality of Hyderabad in the field of Unani has passed away, his Namaz-e-Janaza scheduled to be held in Saifa Masjid, Azampura, Hyderabad in Asar at around 5 PM.

At the time when Unani was eradicating, he took this matter to the chief editor of the Siasat Newspaper Mr Zahed Ali Khan and asked for his intervention, following which the Chief editor wrote a letter to the CM of that time Chandra Babu Naidu and Siasat started conducted BUMS and MD coaching and at that point of time 160 people took this coaching from Siasat.

In his letter, he asked the CM to not to convert the BUMS course from Urdu to English and the CM accepted this proposal in 1996 and now more than 225 students are doing BUMS course annually. He was also a government advisor in Unani.

During that period the two well-known colleges of Unani named Nizamiya Tibya College, Abdul Haq Unani Medical College were on the verge of shutting down but his representation revived the colleges.

Since then Siasat has started coaching students of BUMS and MD students and recently two new private BUMS colleges are opened in the Telangana.
