Hyderabad Deccan had undergone a massive developmental leap during the period of Asaf Jah VI Nawab Mir Mahboob Ali Khan. The measures taken in his period for the development of the state were taken through consultation.
Law enforcement despite kingship was the great achievement of Asaf Jahi rulers. Dr. Thirumalai of Delhi University expressed these views while delivering Dr. Shila Raj Memorial lecture on Nawab Mir Mahboob Ali Khan. He told that constitution was framed for first time in Hyderabad during Nawab Mir Mahboob Ali Khan’s period.
He also exercised patta system and provided every citizen right to possess land.
