Two men sustained grave injuries and three others received minor bruises and cuts in an alleged gang war reported Narsingi area on early Wednesday morning.
According to the police, the incident took place at Gandipet Pochamma Temple when two groups belonging to Manchirevula and Kollur got involved in a fight during a party.
“They attacked each other with beer bottles in inebriated condition. Two persons were seriously injured in the incident in which, the condition of a youngster is said to be critical,” said the police, adding that a statement will be taken and the men will be identified post their medical treatment.
On receipt of information, police rushed to the spot and shifted the injured persons to a nearby private hospital. The police will be booking a case to probe further.
