Hyderabad: After busting the deadly racket of organized crimes of drug addicts, it seems that Hyderabad is emerging as the hub of drug intoxication.
During the investigations of the Excise Department, many startling incidents came to limelight. Recently, it was exposed that many people from the film industry and the children of the elite use intoxicating drugs. They not even hesitate to take the venoms of snake and scorpion in order to fulfill their physiological satisfaction which could also be fatal. The addicts taste the venom of snake and scorpion through which they intensify their intoxication. These venoms are therefore, more in demand these days which are not easily available in India. They are smuggled from Bangkok and other places. A pair of these venoms costs Rs. 20-25 lakh. This venom can keep the drug addicts intoxicating for 10-12 hours.
