Hyderabad: After the implementation of GST, traders are transacting business without issuing cash memos to customers. They are reporting “zero business” to government officials.
According to the news published in DC, in the recently conducted raids by Commercial Taxes, Civil Supplies and Legal Metrology Departments, cases were registered against 300 traders who were indulged in irregularities. Penalty amounts worth Rs. 5.14 lakh recovered from them.
Talking on this issue, Mr C.V. Anand, Commissioner of Civil Supplies and Legal Metrology told that so far, more than 1500 cases have been registered against those who were violating the rules.
