Hyderabad: Excise Dept. and Hyderabad City Police exposed the activities of Drug mafia and the exploitation of minor students which created panic among their parents. Various personalities are wonderstruck that how Drug Mafia is targeting innocent students.
It was also revealed that students in the age group 13-14 studying in VIII and IX classes are also indulged in this evil addiction.
These students spent Rs. 3000 for purchasing these drugs. The question now arises how these students get this money. On investigation, it was revealed that these students steal articles from their own houses like wrist watches, branded spectacles etc. to buy drugs.
It was revealed that girls are also involved in these activities. It is quite likely that they may be sexually abused. If the parents and guardian do not check such activities, they have to repent in the future.
Mr. Akun Sabharwal, Director of Excise Dept. has convened a meeting of 83 educational institutions on 14th July to apprise them of these activities.
