Hyderabad: Depressed over family issues, a woman in Hyderabad tried to commit suicide by jumping off from Victoria Memorial Metro Station at Kothapet yesterday.
The woman was identified as Swapna (25) is a wife of a software techie and has a 2-year-old son. She is a resident of NTR Nagar.
Jumping off the concourse level of the station, Swapna suffered minor injuries. Passengers who saw her taking the extreme step rushed to help her.
She is currently undergoing treatment and is reported to be in stable condition, TT reports.
Meanwhile, the Chaitanyapuri police are investigating the matter.
