Hyderabad: The residents of Shamsabad are worried due to the scarcity of water in the area. It is reported that many bore-wells have dried up.
It is understood that HMWS has taken up the responsibility of the water supply. Whenever a bore-well needs any repair work, permission has to be obtained from HMWS which takes 3 to 4 days. If this responsibility is entrusted to village panchayat, permission would be granted the next day. The residents request the govt. to take immediate action.
