Hyderabad is the second native country for Burma refugees

(Siasat News) Refugees from Burma have made up their mind to make Hyderabad their second native country. They told that the kind of affection and sincerity they got from Hyderabad is excellent. These expressions were made in a function held by Hyderabad Zakat and Charitable Trust Office at Unity Building at Begumpet while distributing aid on behalf of Hyderabad Zakat and Charitable Trust. 250 families of refugee from Burma have taken shelter at Balapur in Hyderabad. Food grains and warm clothes were distributed among the refugees. Ms. Shujath Babu Khan, Ms. Aliya Vicar and Ms. Nafees Khan distributed the materials and advised them to inculcate the habit of hard work. They expressed their pleasure that women are getting training for sewing which is yielding good results.

It may be noted that refugees from Burma have been accommodated in various cities including Hyderabad. In Hyderabad they are nearly 2000 families. Hyderabad Zakat and Charitable Trust has been providing aid to them periodically. The trust made the arrangements for refugees health care under the supervision of Mr. Ghayasuddin Babu Khan. The trust has fixed a budget of Rs. 35 lakh for them.
