Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao today reiterated that journalists in Hyderabad will soon get housing facility. The government has already identified the land for the purpose and separate colonies will be built in the near future, he said addressing the Sate Formation Day celebrations at Parade Ground here on Thursday.
Speaking on the occasion, KCR said that the journalists of the State will soon get the housing facility in the city first and then in districts. “We are committed to provide them permanent shelter. Besides, we are offering insurance to the scribes, which will also being offered to home guards and workers in the State. As part of welfare measures, the government has extended Kalyana Lakshmi and Shadi Mubarak to BCs towards marriage of girls by giving Rs 51000 to the mother 10 days before the marriage.
CM vows better health services
The Chief Minister also said the government was giving impetus to health, education and other key sectors for inclusive growth. He said the government was keeping all manifesto promises. Requisite number of dialysis centers in the State were being set up to provide the best medical and health facilities to the poor.
The Chief Minister said education, health, industry, welfare, IT, and other key sectors are priority for overall development. Steps began for a complete revamp of the hospitals which are in dilapidated conditions due to negligence of the previous government, with latest equipment, medicines and hygienic conditions besides regular change of bed-sheets to check the spread of diseases he maintained.
KCR stated that the officials were asked to improve quality in health services with all facilities to ensure that the people get confidence on the government. A plan is on cards to construct inner ring road in the city and lay roads connecting Hyderabad and district headquarters and from there to villages, he said. The administration has to deliver goods to the people avoiding hindrances and problems. He said that as many as 1798 industries and companies came forward investing Rs 24,698 crore and offering 1.14 lakh jobs.
Fine rice was being offered to poor families, hostels and will be extended to colleges this year. The TRS Government is implementing first of its kind industrial policy that attracted many industries with huge investments and offering jobs, he said. (NSS)
