Hyderabad: In a shocking incident which took place in the Old City of Hyderabad, a school principal punished students allegedly for not paying fees.
According to the report published in The News Minute, this incident took place at Gowtham Model School, Shah Ali Banda.

In the video which went viral, principal of the school can be seen canning students. According to the police, this incident took place in the month of December. The principal has been identified as Sunitha.
Child Rights Activist Achyuta Rao, Balala Hakkula Sangham claimed that Ms. Sunitha admitted that she canned students.
He said that parents are responsible to pay fees and the issue is between parents and school management. The principal should be arrested, he demanded.
Meanwhile, Hussaini Alam Police registered a case and started investigations.
It may be mentioned that recently, a 14-year-old class IX girl student of Jyothi High School allegedly committed suicide after she was barred from appearing in an examination for not paying her school fees. The incident occurred in Hyderabad’s Rachakonda.
