Hyderabad: Rs. 1.2 crore foreign currency seized

Hyderabad: The officials of Central Industrial Security Force arrested a person at Shamsabad Airport and seized foreign currency worth more than Rs. One crore and two lakh.

According to the details of the case, Mohammed Parvaiz, a resident of Hyderabad was going to Dubai by Emirates flight on 9th January.

When the bag was opened, 16500 US Dollars, 52450 Qatari Riyals, 2395 Bahraini Dinars, 4625 Omani Riyals and 29100 Saudi Riyals were found.

He was handed over to Customs Officials. A case was registered and investigation has started.
