Hyderabad: Rs. 1.05 cr foreign currency seized from passenger at airport

Hyderabad: Directorate of Revenue Intelligence, Hyderabad Zonal Unit seized foreign currency worth Rs. 1.05 crore from a passenger at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, Shamsabad. He was about to fly to Dubai. He was carrying Saudi and Omani Riyals with him.

On interrogation, he revealed that he had got this currency from a few unauthorized dealers. He violated the law of FEMA.
