The Hyderabad Regional Passport Office has been awarded as Best Passport Office of the country award while the Regional Passport Officer Mr. K Srikar Reddy has been awarded Best Passport Officer Award.
Addressing a press conference at Secunderabad passport office Mr. Reddy told he received the award at Regional Passport Officers Conference held on June 25. He further informed that Hyderabad passport office issued 5.93 lakh passports during the year 2012-13 and got 1st position in the country.
Reddy thanked the police officials for speeding up the police verification process which enabled to issue passports within one month to the applicants, while passport is being issued within 3 days under Tatkal service.
