A delegation of Qingdao city of China today paid a visit to Hyderabadalong with Mayor B Rammohan and officials. The China team had signed a sister city deal with Hyderabad and they agreed to improve bilateral ties. Rammohan, standing committee members, engineers and officials discussed with the team on plans to transform Hyderabad a global city in 10 years and infrastructure and facilities of world standards and friendly and peaceful atmosphere. They also discussed on roads, public transport system, bridges, drinking water basic infrastructure and facilities to come up in the city. The Qingdao team earlier made a visit to historic monuments and heritage structures in the city. They evinced interest in sharing with Hyderabad on culture, education and development. Rammohan said that the Qingdao team is ready to improve bilateral ties with the city. He said that the Chinese team invited him to visit Qingdao and will make a visit soon. This will sure enable us to focus on future development in the chosen sectors, he added. (NSS)
