Hyderabad: Awaz Organization staged a protest in front of Haj House on 12th September demanding 12% reservation and sub-plan for the Muslims. They also demanded the release of salaries of contract employees of Urdu Academy.
General Secretary of Awaz organization, Mr. Mohammed Abbas told that TRS Govt. has failed on all fronts. It has not fulfilled any of the promises it had made during the earlier election campaign.
Mr. Abbas also demanded preparation of separate sub plan for Muslims and allocation of 2 BHK for poor persons.
Treasurer of Awaz Organization, Mr. Abdus Sattar told that Mr. KCR had promised that TRS would provide 12% reservation within four months of assuming charge in the State but this promise was not fulfilled.
Maulana Hamid Husain Shuttari alleged that TRS did injustice to the Muslims. He also demanded Special DSC for the appointment of Urdu teachers. He lamented that the allocated budget was never released fully for the welfare schemes of Minorities.
