Hyderabad: Tension erupted at State Bank of India branch in Tolichowki area on Friday after police lathicharged to disperse the overcrowding and queues.
Standing in serpentine queues for hours outside bank, hundreds of people, who were in dire need of cash complained that they are not being able to get required cash for days as branches are displaying boards like ‘No Cash’, ‘Cash no stock’, etc.
Customers turned aggressive after standing in long queue and vented their anger by raising slogans. Therefore, to disperse the crowd, police had to resort to mild lathi-charge.
The common man hit hard by the sudden demonetisation move of the Modi government.
