Hyderabad police bust trafficking racket

Hyderabad, September 23: Police here today claimed to have busted a human trafficking racket with the arrest of two persons who allegedly prepared fake visas for sending young women from Andhra Pradesh to Gulf countries, promising them high-salary jobs.

The sleuths of Commissioner’s Task Force apprehended Mohammed Mahboob Ali and Mohammed Osman Ali from Falaknuma here yesterday. Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police K Raghuram Reddy said that after collecting passports from aspirants, sub agents (including Osman) approached Mahboob Ali who prepared fake visiting visas and sponsorship letters.

Reddy said Mahaboob Ali had sent nearly 200 persons to Saudi Arabia in this way. Sixteen agents were taking help of Mahboob Ali for pushing their candidates through illegal way to Saudi Arabia.They have been identified and efforts are on to arrest the remaining agents, he said.
