Hyderabad: Archeological Dept. refused to accord permission for offering Friday prayer at the Masjid located in Golconda Fort.
It may be mentioned that the local MLA had written to the authorities for it.
Archeological Dept. in its letter mentioned that when the responsibility of taking care of Golconda Fort was entrusted to it, no prayer was being offered in the Masjid.
The Archeological Dept. had convened a meeting of People’s Representatives for seeking their cooperation in connection with dislodging illegal possessions.
