Stating that Hyderabad was a peaceful city, Home Minister Nayani Narsimha Reddy on Sunday dismissed some media reports which claimed that the city was turning into a hub of terrorism.
Speaking at the first general body meeting of Telangana State Electronic Media Journalist Union at Indira Priya Darshini auditorium here, the Home Minister said a section of media has been creating hype on small incidents to project Hyderabad in a negative manner. He advised media organisations, especially news channels, to be cautious in broadcasting such news items and said they should verify the facts from officials concerned. (INN)
