Hyderabad: In a tragic incident, a newly-wed woman committed suicide by consuming poison in her house at Habeeb Nagar.
Ghousia Begum (23) had got married to Abdullah on 17th November last year. Abdullah is an unemployed person residing with his parents.
Police reported that Abdullah was suspicious about his wife’s character. He started quarreling with her. Abdullah was also demanding his wife to get more dowries.
It may be mentioned that many articles were given as dowry on the occasion of marriage.
Vexed with her husband’s harassment, Ghousia Begum committed suicide.
Although she was taken to the hospital, the victim could not survive.
Police registered a case and started investigations.
