Chief Minister of Telangana Mr. K Chandrashekhar Rao said that Hyderabad must be developed as a modern city with global standard. The city must be made the centre of modernity without affecting historical monuments.
During a meeting with noted architect Hafeez contractor, chief minister said attention should be paid on new constructions in Hyderabad the capital of Telangana. Sources of the Chief Minister’s Office told that the Chief Minister stressed to prefer modern construction to maintain glory of Hyderabad. He proposed construction of a convention centre of international standard with the name Telangana Kala Bharati in the heart of the city opposite Indira Park. He was in favour of new modern constructions and to make the surroundings of Charminar, Husain Sagar, Salarjung museum and other historical monuments attractive for the visitors.
