Hyderabad: Mobile phone explodes in man’s pocket

Hyderabad: In an incident occurred under Bollaram police station limits, a cell phone exploded in man’s pocket. 25-year-old, man was riding a bike in the morning when suddenly the mobile phone kept in his pocket exploded, leaving the man severely injured. He was shifted to the hospital for treatment.

Relative of the victim informed that the mobile phone, Oppo A5, was purchased just two days ago. According to him, as soon as the mobile exploded, the man lost his balance and fell off the bike. Besides receiving burn injuries due to cell phone blast, he also received injuries on chin and forehead due to the fall.
