Hyderabad: Metro Rail works to begin in Old City

Hyderabad: Metro Rail works from Mahatma Gandhi Bus Station (MGBS) to Falaknuma stretch will begin soon.

AIMIM floor leader Akbaruddin Owaisi, along with Managing Director, Hyderabad Metro Rail NVS Reddy and Legislators Mumtaz Ahmed Khan, Syed Ahmed Pasha Quadri and Ahmed Bin Abdullah Balala, have visited Dar-ul-Shafa and inspected the six-km stretch MGBS to Falaknuma on Saturday morning.

Akbaruddin Owaisi urged the officials of Hyderabad Metro Rail to immediately start the work from MGBS To Falaknuma stretch via Dar-ul-Shafa, Purani Haveli, Eitebar Chowk, Volga Hotel, Sultan Shahi, Shah-Ali-banda, Syed Ali Chabutra, Shamsheer Gunj and Falaknuma. NVS Reddy assured to start the works in the proposed stretch in two or three days.

Last week, a delegation of AIMIM legislators had a meeting with MA&UD Principal Secretary Arvind Kumar and requested him to start the works of Metro Rail instantly in Old City.
