Hyderabad Metro Rail: Here are the offences which can land you in jail

Hyderabad: Now, quarreling on Hyderabad Metro Rail is an offence which may attract fine.

According to the news published in TOI, a fine of Rs. 500 will be imposed if anyone found quarreling on Metro Rail. Sitting on the floor can also lead to the imposition of a fine.

It is also reported that anyone found hanging around at stations for more than an hour can land in jail for 3 months along with fine.

In one of the incidents, a commuter who was waiting for his friend was asked to leave Ameerpet Station.

Other offences on Hyderabad Metro Rail are stopping trains, walking on the railway lines, writing or pasting on coaches, carrying dangerous materials.

It may be mentioned that if you are asked to leave coach for committing an offence, a fine of Rs. 1,000 or imprisonment of up to 6 months will be imposed.
