Hyderabad march into the final, beat Delhi by 5 wkts

Indore, March 15: Hyderabad defeated Delhi by five wickets to enter into the final of the All India Twenty-20 cricket tournament for Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy at Usha Raje cricket ground here today.

Delhi won the toss and opted to bat in the semi-final clash. Farman Ahmed batted brilliantly to score 54 off 51 balls with six boundaries and two sixes while Puneet Bisht contributed 27 off 15 balls with two hits each to and over the fence.

Vivek Krishna of Hyderabad never allowed opponent batsmen to stay at the middle of the wicket and was packing them at regular intervals.

In his spell of four overs, he captured four wickets conceding 25 runs. Delhi scored 157 for eight in allotted 20 overs.

In reply, Hyderabad batsmen batted with good plan.

Previous match centurian Akshath Reddy scored brisk 33 off 30 balls with two boundaries and two huge sixes.
