Hyderabad: Man who killed newlywed wife for refusing to have physical relation gets life imprisonment

Hyderabad: Man sentenced to life imprisonment for killing his wife after she said refused to have physical relation with him. This heinous crime took place in the jurisdiction of Malakpet Police on 26th March 2011.

According to the report published in Telangana Today, the Second Additional Metropolitan Session Judge on Friday sentenced K. Krishna Kishore (40) to life imprisonment. A fine of Rs. 1000 was also imposed. Kishore, a native of Alwal was a lecturer at a private college.

As per the details furnished by the Malakpet police, on 24th March 2011, Kishore married K Ramadevi. After the marriage, bride’s family arranged a house in Asmangadh for them.

The couple spent a night at Ramadevi’s parents’ house. On March 26 morning, Kishore left for his native place, Alwal along with her gold jewellery. Kishore said that he would deposit it in a bank locker. He returned in the evening on the same day. In the morning of 27th March, he again hurriedly left for Alwal.

After he left, newlywed bride’s family found her unconscious on the bed. They rushed her to Osmania General Hospital where she was declared brought dead.

Malakpet Police had registered a case and arrested Kishore. Later, he confessed to his crime. He said that on the evening of 26th March, he murdered Ramadevi after she opposed his advances. He smothered her with a pillow.
