HYDERABAD: A man allegedly strangulated his wife and four-month-old son to death and set their bodies ablaze in Ghatkesar.
According to the Times Of India report, Ramesh (27) confessed the crime at Palakurthy police station saying that he throttled his wife, Sushruta (26) and his four-month-old son at Ghatkesar and then torched their bodies.
P Raghuveer Reddy, inspector of Ghatkesar said, Sushruta belongs to SC while Ramesh belongs to BC, they fell in love in 2015. Their families were against this relation. However they got married at Arya Samaj.
Due to some reason, she was staying with her parents for the past 8 months said Ramesh. On Saturday evening, she along with their son came to meet Ramesh to discuss the problem.
They had an argument after which Sushruta consumed sleeping pills. While his wife was getting drowsy, Ramesh drove them to an open place where he throttled his wife and son to death. Later, he set them ablaze on heap of wood using petrol said inspector.
Police arrested Ramesh and a case was registered against him under Section 302 and 201 of IPC.
