Hyderabad: Cybercrime Division of Rachakonda Police arrested a man and two of his companions on the basis of a complaint lodged by a woman.
According to the report of the police, the kingpin of the conspiracy, Rakesh and two of his friends, Mahesh (23) and Ghouse (21), resident of Ankushapur, Ghatkesar were arrested. The woman also belongs to the same place.
In her complaint, the woman said that these persons were posting objectionable photos on Facebook to defame her.
According to the report of the Cybercrime Police, Rakesh had got the access to the user ID of the woman and password at a time when both had good relations.
Meanwhile, Rakesh proposed to her but she and her relatives refused it.
In order to take revenge, Rakesh took the help of two of his friends and posted the photographs. He also posted phone numbers of the woman and her parents along with the photos and videos.
When the woman started receiving objectionable phone calls, she approached the police. Police registered a case and presented in the court. The magistrate gave them in judicial custody.
