Hyderabad: In the Abdullahpurmet area of Hayathnagar, a washerwoman was attacked after sexual harassment.
According to the report of the police, the 35-year-old woman was earning her livelihood by pressing clothes in a rented house. She got separated from her husband a few days backs. A man of the same areas, by name Babu, was harassing her sexually for quite some time.
Two days back, he picked up a quarrel with the woman, after it, he attacked her with a knife.
Hayathnagar police registered a case and started investigation. The police shifted the injured woman to a hospital and arrested the attacker.
