Hyderabad: Kashmiri held for cheating 24 youths

Hyderabad: CCS sleuths today arrested one Gulam Mohammed Illahi alias Gulzar, 54, of Noorkhan Bazaar and a native of Srinagar of J&K State, for cheating and receiving Rs 60 lakh from 24 youths promising to secure government jobs in Railways, SBI, FCI and so on from January last year.

The CCS sleuths said the accused along with others induced the victims to pay Rs 2.5 lakh each by creating Fake online website of Railway Recruitment Board, fake job offer letters, fake training and also conducted Medical tests at Bardhaman, Kolkata. After receiving the cash, the accused disappeared from Hyderabad since June last year. On receipt of a complaint, a case was registered.

While the accused was moving in Kolkata, UP and Bihar, the sleuths apprehended Gulam Mohammed Illahi at Dulahipur village, Mughalsarai, Chandauli District of UP and brought to Hyderabad on transit warrant and produced before the court.
