Hyderabad: Juveniles escape from shelter home after assaulting staff

Hyderabad: Six juveniles escaped from Rural Organization for Social Empowerment (ROSE) observatory home after assaulting the staff.

According to the report published in DC, since October 2017, this is the third such incident in the ROSE home. In this incident which took place on Saturday, window panes are also damaged.

After continuous incidents, officials at ROSE wrote to the concern authorities to close down the home. However, the decision is still pending.

Giving the details of the incident, Mr. Sailu, Superintendent of the observatory home told that on Saturday afternoon, the boys suddenly started damaging window panes and demanded keys threatening staff. He further said that juveniles assaulted the staff and everything happened within 10 minutes.

It may be mentioned that in the month of October, four juveniles escaped from the home and in December, three more juveniles fled from the home.

LB Nagar police registered a case and started searching the boys.
