Hyderabad: Overflowing drainage has become a major issue in Jawaharlal Nehru Technology (JNTU) University, Masab tank which is causing difficulties students.
The lane in front of JNTU college of Arts have got stagnated with the drain water. The overflowing drainage water causing unpleasant smell and mosquito menace in the area. The stagnated water and drain water splashes on the students, teachers, and pedestrians when any motorists passes on the road.
Speaking to siasat.com employee of JNTU said, “This has been regular issue here at JNTU, from past three days I have been lodging complaint to GHMC but all in vain, Recently, K. Kavitha, Former Member of Lok Sabha visited the JNTU for Bathukamma festival, apart from distributing sarees she could have inform the official to resolve the issue.”
