Hyderabad, November 01: Clearing his stand minister for health D Nagendar said that he would not support any proposal of making Hyderabad a Union territory instead he would strongly oppose any such attempt.
During an informal talk with the newspersons here Mr. Nagendar stated that Hyderabad city had a distinctive history and no one could deny its long-standing history.
Reacting upon the reports of Hyderabad being made the Union territory the minister said that Hyderabad is in no way separate from Telangana region but is an integral part of Telangana region.
Hence it will never be permitted to split Hyderabad from Telangana region rather he would fully support the stand taken by TRS chief K Chandrashekar Rao and former DGP P Ramulu.
