Hyderabad: All the building owners, agencies and other individuals are ordered to remove unauthorized hoardings on their structures and GHMC has been conducting drive in this regard.

Arvind Kumar, Principal Secretary (Municipal Administration), has warned that strict action will be taken against those who do not comply with the orders. He also said that action will be taken according to the provisions of the Indian Penal Code and other related statutes.
According to the news reported in Deccan Chronicle, after 2011, GHMC has not been according any permission for the hoardings. The existing hoardings were erected before 2011 and they are renewed every year.
The Principal Secretary says that the illegal hoardings are causing a huge problem by blocking the traffic signals for motorists and also sometimes damaging the property.
