Hyderabad: MBT organized protest program at Aliabad crossroads on Wednesday, 2nd January. The effigies of PM Modi and Law Minister, Ravi Shanker Prasad were set ablaze.
Hundreds of protesters staged dharna which continued hours together. Traffic was jammed from Aliabad crossroads to the road leading to Charminar. A large number of women also participated in the Dharna program.
President of MBT, Mr. Majeedullah Khan Farhat thanked all the opposition parties for supporting the motion against Triple Talaq Bill.
He further said that no power on the Earth can alter Muslim Personal Law. It is a blow on the freedom of religion. BJP is making an attempt to pass this bill to hide its failures. It wants to divide the country in the name of religion.
The Muslims of the country believe that with the support of opposition parties, this bill will not be passed in Rajya Sabha. He also appealed to various opposition parties to launch protest programs to foil the evil designs of BJP.
