The Hyderabad police have heightened its vigil at all public places after intelligence inputs warning about a terror attack by Pakistan-based jihadi elements, following the bomb blast in Punjab on Monday.
Vigilance has increased in twin cities and security has been tightened in bus stations, airports, railway stations, VIP residences, offices and other major locations.
It is to be recalled that four police officers and three civilians were killed in the attack when suspected terrorists fired at the Gurdaspur police station and Dinanagar bus stand early, Monday morning in Punjab.
Also, five live bombs were found on the Amritsar-Pathankot railway track.
