Hyderabad: The Telangana High Court on Friday directed the Kukatpally court to grant bail to former CEO of Telugu TV news channel TV 9 Ravi Prakash in a case registered against him at Cybercrime police station in Cyberabad.
The HC also asked the lower court to grant bail to the jailed CEO on furnishing a personal bond for Rs 15,000 with two sureties.
The cyber wing of Cyberabad police had booked a criminal against Ravi Prakash under sections 420, 468, 471, 120 B of IPC and Section 66 C and 66 D of Information Technology Act, following a complaint by the director of Alanda Media and Entertainment Pvt Ltd Kaushik Rao who alleged huge irregularities by former the CEO.
Ravi Prakash has been in jail in ever since a fresh case was filed by Banjara Hills police some time ago.
