Hyderabad: A 14-year-old girl in Shameerpet’s Jain Heritage School who was playing, collapsed and died on Wednesday evening.
Erra Anuhya, 14, daughter of Erra Anil Kumar, was a Class VIII student. On Wednesday evening, the deceased and other students were playing in the ground and she suddenly collapsed.
The girl was immediately rushed to Mediciti Hospital at Shameerpet, where the duty doctors declared her as brought dead, said the inspector.
Her parents and kin protested demanding immediate justice. The police intervened and calmed the girl’s family assuring them that necessary action will be taken.
Inspector Naveen asserted that“It is still a mystery how a young girl has collapsed and died suddenly. The girl’s body was sent for the post-mortem examination at Gandhi Hospital mortuary and awaiting the Forensic doctor’s opinion on the cause of death. However, a case of suspicious death has been registered based on Anil Kumar’s complaint.”
